Poughkeepsie, NY - Marist won all five singles matches without dropping a set and took both doubles matches as well in a 6-0 win over the Pride Monday.
Hofstra slipped to 3-6 on the year and saw its three-match win streak halted. The Red Foxes improved to 6-2.
Ari Richman fell to Lorenzo Rossi in the closes match of the afternoon, 6-4, 6-4. Matthew Gemmell Lost to Will Reznek, 6-1, 6-4, at second singles but no other Pride player managed to get more than three games in a set the rest of the way.
The Pride is back in action this weekend at George Mason Saturday and Delaware on Sunday.
