Rehoboth Beach, DE- Connell McNamara carded a second-round 75 and finished tied for 45th as Hofstra placed 12th at the Rehoboth Beach Fall Invitational Monday. Hofstra shot a collective 344 first round and a 324 second round to finish with a 668 total.
McNamara's second round score was the lowest for a Pride golfer. Andrew Roberts recorded an 83 in the first round and 78 in the second as he tied for 48th. Max Branchinelli tied for 67th and Harry Poster placed 71st. Chris Davis finished 74th.
The United States Naval Academy finished first overall at 587, while the University of Pennsylvania came in second at 589.
Hofstra will next be in action at the Scotty Duncan Memorial Tournament Sunday, Oct. 4 in Newark, Delaware.
