Williamsburg, VA - Freshman Erica Barnes was sixth, four shots off the lead, as the Pride placed seventh at the ECAC Division I Women's Golf Championship Sunday afternoon at the Kiskiack Golf Club in Williamsburg, VA. The team posted rounds of 348 and 329 to finish at 677.
Barnes shot rounds of 81 (+9) and 74 (+2) to earn the best finish of her young career. Her 74 on Sunday was the third-lowest round of the day. Jenna Masynk tied for 29th after rounds of 90 and 80, while Ali Wakefield shot a 175 (85-90) to tie for 33rd. Alexandra Hanlon tied for 38th after carding a 92 and an 88, while Kelly Sullivan rounded out the Hofstra contingent in a 40th-place tie (94-87-181).
Hartford's Sarah Sideranko won the individual title with a 151 after rounds of 80 and 71, posting a one shot victory over three golfers. The University of Pennsylvania took home the team title with a two-round score of 616.
The Pride is back in action next Friday and Saturday, October 9 and 10, at the the Rutgers Invitational.
