MEN?S GOLF TEAM IN 15th PLACE AFTER FIRST DAY OF SCOTTY DUNCAN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT

Stanton, DE- Hofstra men's golfers shot a combined 358 in the first-round as the Pride finished the opening day in 15th place at the Scotty Duncan Memorial tournament Sunday at White Clay Creek Golf Club.

Harry Poster led the Pride golfers in individual performance, shooting a 39 on the front-nine and a 43 on the second set of 18 holes for a first-round total of 82 that tied him for 37th place. Andrew Roberts carded an 86 for a share of 65th place.

Connell McNamara (47-47-94) is 75th and Chris Davis (49-47-96) is tied for 76th after the first day. Max Branchinelli (57-49-106) is in 78th.

The University of Delaware is hosting the event and the Blue Hens shot a collective 304 for the first-round lead. Delaware's Kevin McLister and Rutgers' James Hilaire both shot a round-low 73 for a share of the lead.

The Scotty Duncan Memorial concludes with 18 holes Monday.
