Piscataway, NJ - Amy Hoffmann shot a second round 83 and finished tied for 44th to help Hofstra post a 12th place finish at the Rutgers Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Rutgers Golf Course. The Pride shot a combined 344 in the final round to finish with a two-day 677.

Hoffmann totaled a 167 over her two rounds to pace the Pride. Erica Barnes shot an 84 Saturday to finish with a two-round score of 170. Barnes tied for 53rd with teammates Jenna Masynk (82-88) and Alexandra Hanlon (81-89). Morgan Heyrman rounded out the Hofstra contingent with a second round 89 and finished in 75th place at 176.

Boston College was the team champion with a two-round total of 616 after rounds of 312 and 304. First round leader St. John's finished seocnd at 622 (308-314). Rutgers Jeanne Waters shot a 73 Saturday and defeated FDU's Michele Holzwarth in a playoff to claim the individual title at 149.

The Pride return to action at the Bucknell Invitational on October 18-19.
