HOFSTRA WOMEN?S LACROSSE TAKES PART IN MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER WALK

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra Women's Lacrosse team took part in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach State Park on Sunday, October 18.

The event, which helped to raise funds to assist in the fight against breast cancer, had thousands of participants despite the poor weather.

According to the American Cancer Society, 17,000 people gathered to walk together at Jones Beach State Park and the event raised $2,800,000.
