SATURDAY'S MEN?S LACROSSE GAME PRESENTED BY MODELL?S SPORTING GOODS

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra Athletic Department is proud to announce this Saturday's Hofstra Pride Men's Lacrosse game versus #7 Johns Hopkins will be presented by Modell's Sporting Goods. All season long the Pride will have special gameday promotions and events for fans to enjoy.

Fans purchasing tickets to this much anticipated matchup should buy in advance of game day to avoid long lines, enjoy a discounted ticket price and receive a special gift from Modell's Sporting Goods. Fans who purchase two or more Reserved (Chairback) seats will receive a Hofstra Men's Lacrosse long sleeve t-shirt courtesy of Modell's Sporting Goods.

Prior to the game Hofstra Men's Lacrosse will be hosting a youth clinic presented by STX and Modell's Sporting Goods. The clinic will be run by Long Island Lizards Assistant Coach Matt Schomburg and Hofstra Lacrosse players.

Participants are encouraged to purchase their tickets and register in advance as clinic space is very limited and may not be available on walk-up basis for Saturday.

The timeline for the day's event is as follows;
4:00 p.m. - Clinic Registration
4:30 - 5:30 p.m. - Clinic with Matt Schomburg and Hofstra Lacrosse Players
5:45 p.m. - Tour of Hofstra Lacrosse Facilities
6:00 p.m. - Hofstra Lacrosse Fan Fest opens
6:45 p.m. - All participants on the field to form the welcome tunnel for Hofstra
7:00 p.m. - Game Time! Hofstra vs. Johns Hopkins

About Matt Schomburg
Matt Schomburg, affectionately known as "Schommy," is a native Australian who was a four-time member of the Australian National Team. He attended Adelphi University starting in 1995 and led his team to a National Championship in his freshman year. However, he returned home to Australia after the 1996 season due to family illness. Schomburg returned to the U.S. in 2003 and rejoined Adelphi earning All-American honors and graduating at 32 years old. Schomburg finished his Adelphi career with a 67% face-off win percentage and 9th all time in career assists. In 2005 Schomburg joined the LI Lizards. Schomburg currently resides in Huntington and is the Long Island Sales Rep for STX Lacrosse
