PRIDE WIN HOFSTRA TRIANGLE MEET

Hempstead, NY - Morgan Heyrman, Christine Klatman and Jenna Masnyk each shot 87 (+15) to tie for third, and Erica Barnes carded an 88 (+16) to place sixth as the Pride defeated Wagner and St. Francis (NY) in the Hofstra Triangle meet Friday afternoon at the Eisenhower Park White Course. Hofstra posted a team score of 349 (+61), 22 strokes better than Wagner and 25 better than St. Francis.

Heyrman posted eight pars during her round en route to an 87, while Masnyk and Klatman had six and five par scores, respectively. Barnes also recorded six scores of par during her round. Amy Hoffmann rounded out the Hofstra five in 11th place after a round of 97 (+25).

St. Francis finished last as a team, but boasted the top two individuals in Emily Wisener and Teresa Dellilo. Wisener shot a round of 85 (+13) to edge her teammate by one stroke.

Keri Muse was the top finisher for Wagner, placing seventh with a 91 (+19).

The Pride is next in action next weekend, April 16-18, at the CAA Championship in Hot Springs, Virginia.
