PRIDE REMAIN IN 11TH PLACE AFTER SECOND ROUND OF CAA CHAMPIONSHIP

Hot Springs, VA - Chris Davis shot a 78 (+8) for Hofstra's low round of the day, but the Pride remain in 11th place at the CAA Championship at The Cascades at The Homestead. Hofstra has a team score of 663 (+103) after two rounds.

Davis had two birdies during his second round as he shaved seven strokes from his first round score. He also moved up two spots on the leaderboard and is in a 50th place tie heding into Sunday's final round with a score of 163 (+23). Connell McNamara followed up a first round 78 with an 81 (+11) and is tied for 42nd at 159 (+19). Harry Poster, Andrew Roberts and Justin Nash sit in 53rd, 54th and 55th place. Poster shot an 86 (+16) and has a total score of 168 (+28). Roberts has carded a 173 (+33) after his 87 (+17) on Saturday. Nash rebounded from a 101 on Friday to shoot an 88 on Saturday and is 49-over at 189.

Delaware's Justin Martinson shot a 72 (+2) Saturday to move into the top spot on the leaderboard at 141 (+1). Towson maintained its team lead at 584 (+24) and holds a nine stroke lead over second place VCU.

The final round tees off at 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
