Warwick, RI - Hofstra rising sophomore Jenna Masnyk won the Rhode Island Women's Golf Association Stroke Play Championship at the Potowomut Golf Club Tuesday afternoon. Masnyk (Lincoln, RI) recorded the low gross score of 76 (+3) to claim the title. Her adjusted net score was 72 (-1).

Masnyk was a three-time All-Rhode Island selection at Lincoln High School and was representing the Kirkbrae Country Club. She recently completed her freshman season at Hofstra, competing in eight events with two top-five and three top-10 finishes. Her 87 stroke average ranked third on the team.
