Hempstead, N.Y. - A trip to the Puerto Rico Tip-Off from Nov. 18-21, including an opening round match-up with perennial power North Carolina, highlights the Hofstra Men's Basketball 2010-11 schedule, which was released today.

After hosting Molloy in an exhibition game on Saturday, Nov. 6, Hofstra opens its 2010-11 regular season with a home game against Farmingdale State College on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 4 p.m. The Pride then travels to San Juan for the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, which includes an opening-round game against North Carolina on Friday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m., which will be televised nationally on ESPN2. West Virginia, Minnesota, Nebraska, Western Kentucky, Davidson and Vanderbilt will also be in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Field.
After its three games in San Juan, the Pride returns home to face Wagner on Friday, Nov. 26 and travels to Rider on Monday, Nov. 29 in a return visit from last year's Bracket Buster contest, which the Pride won in overtime.

The new year will see the conference schedule begin in earnest with two key home games early in 2011, on Wednesday, Jan. 5 against George Mason and Saturday, Jan. 15 against Old Dominion. The Pride will also squeeze in a Monday night home game on Jan. 24 against James Madison, before closing out the regular season with February home games against Northeastern (Feb. 5), William & Mary (Feb. 15) and Delaware (Feb. 26).
