University student-athletes. The key
criteria includes excellence in academics, leadership and dedication in

Soccer from Holbrook, NY and has taken the leadership position on her team this
year. As of her last competition, Laura

asked if she has been able to meet any influential people, she said “My
teammates and coaches have influenced me the most while I have been here at
Hofstra. They have always pushed me and
everyone else around them to reach their full potential. I couldn't ask to be surrounded by a better
group of people.”

of the soccer program.

has it meant to be a member of the Hofstra women's soccer team and to play for

LAURA: I believe that a leader is someone who can motivate
the people around them either vocally or by example.

important.
Q: What
piece of advice do you have for incoming student-athletes?
LAURA: I would advise incoming
student-athletes to work as hard as they can on their school work and
athletics. You want to make sure that
you did the best that you could have because your time here flies by.
Q: What
are your interests outside of your sport?
LAURA: Outside of soccer, I love going to the beach and I
try to spend time with my family and friends as much as I can.
