Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra Women's Basketball team travels to Drexel on Sunday to take on the Dragons as they end a short two-game road trip in Philadelphia.

The Pride and the Dragons will tip off at 2 p.m. from the Daskalaskis Athletic Center.  Links to live video, audio and statistics can be found through the PRIDE ZONE on GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra (14-5, 6-2 CAA) is coming off an 84-66 loss at No. 15/No. 16 Delaware on Thursday.  The contest was tied at 55 with just over 11 minutes left before Delaware used a 14-0 scoring run to take control and never looked back in posting the victory.  In a battle of two of the top players in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), Hofstra junior forward Shante Evans had 22 points and seven rebounds, while Elena Delle Donne had 41 points, 15 rebounds and five assists to carry the Blue Hens to the win.

Hofstra and Drexel will be meeting for the second time this season as the Pride earned a 76-65 victory over the Dragons back on January 5.  Evans had 21 points and 14 rebounds for Hofstra, while senior guard Nicole Capurso was second on the squad with 17 points.  Hollie Mershon led Drexel with 21 points.

Following the contest against the Dragons, Hofstra will begin February with a pair of home games.  The Pride will host William & Mary on February 2 before take on Old Dominion on February 5.  The game against the Tribe will be a rematch of the epic 100-97 (Hofstra win) contest between Hofstra and William & Mary back on January 8.
