people don't know that Mardi Gras and Carnival are the same event - just
celebrated differently in different cultures. Join us as we bring a
taste of both to Hofstra! Highlights of the evening include the mixing
skills of Power 105.1's DJ Norie, hosted by Olivia with performances by Hofstra's Imani Dance Ensemble, The Sugar Tone Brass Band, and Fat Joe,
as well as tarot card and palm readers, authentic Mardi Gras and
Carnival foods, and specialty beer and wine. Don't forget to dress in
traditional Mardi Gras and Carnival costumes, and bring your country
flags! (Parental Advisory)
