Hempstead,
N.Y. - Hofstra junior Jamal Coombs-McDaniel was mentioned as one of 10
transfers to watch for the upcoming season by CBS commentator Jon Rothstein.

last season and will be eligible to play for the upcoming 2012-13 campaign.
Coombs-McDaniel
joined Rider's Nurideen Lindsey, Cal's Ricky Kreklow, Arizona State's Evan
Gordon, Northwestern's Jared Swopshire, La Salle's Tyrone Garlan, Seton Hall's
Brian Oliver, Eric Wise from USC and Penn State's D.J. Newbill. Rounding out
the list is Towson's Jerelle Benimon, who is the only other player on the list
from a Colonial Athletic Association school.
Coombs-McDaniel
played in all 41 of UConn's games during its national championship season in
2010-11. He averaged 5.6 points and 2.7 rebounds.
