Bowen, a freshman from Edmond, Oklahoma, was named to the third team for singles play. She posted a 12-10 record overall during her inaugural regular season, including an 8-7 record in dual matches. Bowen was 3-1 in CAA duals and played at both the first and second singles flights. She was 4-3 in duals at first singles and 4-4 at the second flight.
Bowen made a big impact from the start as she won the Flight B singles title at the season-opening Siena Invitational, posting a 3-0 record.
Bailly (Paris, France) and Richman (Phoenix, AZ) were named to the third team in doubles after posting a 8-7 record overall and a 7-5 dual meet mark, all at first doubles. The duo was 3-1 in conference play. The pair enters the CAA Championship having won six of their last eight matches.
Hofstra begins play in the CAA Championship, which is being held on the campus of The College of William & Mary, Thursday. The Pride women, seeded seventh, open play against the #2 seed UNCW at 9 a.m. The men’s team is seeded sixth and will meet #3 James Madison at Noon.
