Today at 1 p.m., Brown University announced that its new athletic director would be Jack Hayes.  In the past eight years, Jack has contributed significantly to the Hofstra Pride’s success in the CAA, including 21 conference titles and 35 postseason appearances.   We wish him well as he returns to his home town for his new role.

Executive Associate Athletic Director Danny McCabe will assume the role of Interim Athletic Director.  McCabe joined the Hofstra Athletics Department in 2005 as the Executive Associate Director of Athletics after serving the previous four years as the associate director of athletics at Providence College.

A national search for Hofstra’s next director of athletics will begin shortly.
