Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra Women's Basketball team will have a rare noon tip on Thursday when the Pride host Virginia Commonwealth University on "What I Want To Be Day" at the Mack Sports Complex.

An anticipated crowd of elementary and middle school students in second through sixth grade are expected for the career day event where various University departments and community members will discuss their careers and share some of their many experiences in their line of work.

The day will begin at approximately 9:30 a.m. with a welcome from Head Women's Basketball Coach Krista Kilburn-Steveskey which will then be followed by the event's presentations from 9:45 - 11 a.m.

Hofstra comes into Thursday's game with a 13-10 overall record and a 6-5 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) mark following Sunday's 73-58 win over UNC Wilmington.  The Pride has won two straight, three of its last four and five of its last seven.

Virginia Commonwealth is 16-7 overall and 9-2 in league play.
