Hempstead, NY - FANS, now is your chance to have a say in the GoHofstra.com Player of the Week.

Below is a quick recap on each of the nominees' relevant statistics from the past week. Voting is now open and will close at noon on Wednesday. Each week's statistics include contests from the previous Monday-Sunday.

Softball - Olivia Galati (Freshman, Pitcher, West Babylon, NY / St. John The Baptist)
Galati threw the first no-hitter in CAA Tournament history to give Hofstra a 3-0 win over Georgia State in the 2010 CAA championship game on Friday. Galati struck out 10, walked two and didn't come close to allowing a hit, as the only well-hit ball by Georgia State was a high fly ball caught in front of the warning track in the second inning. Galati was named the CAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player, after she earned the CAA Pitcher of the Year and the CAA Rookie of the Year honors earlier in the week. She improved her record to 24-6 on the year (two shy of the school record for wins in a season) with a 1.30 ERA and 280 strikeouts (second on the Hofstra single-season list).

Baseball - Elliot Hagburg (Senior, Right Fielder, East Hanover, NJ / Hanover Park HS)
Elliot batted.583 (7-12) with five doubles, three RBIs and four runs scored…Slugged 1.000 and had a .615 on-base percentage…He hit safely in all three games…Was 2-5 with two doubles and two runs scored in opener of JMU series…Led Hofstra to a 6-4 win in game two by posting his first career four-hit game (4-4) with three doubles and three RBIs…Was 1-3 with two runs scored in the series finale.

Men’s Lacrosse - Tim Holman (Junior, Midfielder Garden City, NY / Garden City HS)
Holman, a junior short-stick defensive midfielder, had a career-best offensive day and a solid defensive game in the Pride's 11-8 loss to #3 Maryland in the first round of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship Saturday afternoon. The Garden City, NY native, who entered the Maryland contest with one goal and one assist to his credit in 34 games over his three-year tenure, posted career-highs of two goals and two assists against the Terrapins. He tallied his first goal of the season and the second of his career at the 8:40 mark of the third quarter that gave the Pride a 5-4 lead. Holman's second goal, right off the face-off in the fourth quarter closed the Hofstra deficit to 7-6. He later assisted on Jay Card's third and fourth goals of the game in the final 1:11 of the game. Holman also picked up four ground balls and forced one turnover.
