MBB: Cassara To Host Sneakers & Stilettos Basket Ball

Hempstead, NY – Hofstra University Head Men’s Basketball Coach Mo Cassara is excited to announce that he will be hosting the first-ever “Mo Cassara’s Coaches vs. Cancer Sneakers & Stilettos Basket Ball” on Thursday, October 4 at The Allegria Hotel in Long Beach, New York.

The event, which is being hosted by Coach Cassara and chaired by Louis D’Agostino, Partner, Senior Vice President at Iron Cove Partners, LLC, A Whitmore Group Limited Company and Doug Mauch, Managing Partner at JJT Energy, will begin at 7 p.m.

“I am thrilled and excited to be part of the Coaches vs. Cancer team and to work with the wonderful people at the American Cancer Society,” commented Coach Cassara.  “This event will help raise money and awareness for cancer research and we look forward to a great night here on Long Island.”

The proceeds from Mo Cassara's Coaches vs. Cancer Sneakers & Stilettos Basket  Ball  support the commitment of the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer.  The American Cancer Society offers help and hope through cutting edge research, widespread education,  tireless advocacy and  steadfast dedication to their mission of saving lives and preventing cancer.

The American Cancer Society’s toll free number provides live cancer specialists 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year to assist and guide you in the right direction. The Society also provides vital patient and family services free of charge, which assist with navigation of the healthcare system, offering free temporary housing at Hope Lodge while receiving treatment.  All of their programs and services are made possible through your donations.

Cocktail attire, along with sneakers and stilettos are preferred.
