Stamford, CT - Fairfield won five singles matches and took the doubles point as well in a 6-1 victory over Hofstra Friday night.

Hofstra falls to 1-3 on the season, while Fairfield improves to 5-2.

Pedro Gimenez picked up the lone singles win for the Pride with a 7-5, 6-0 win over Reece Breault at the sixth flight. Adrien Bailly did battle at third singles, dropping a three-setter to Dennis Zlobinsky, 1-6, 6-3, 3-6.

The Pride is back in action March 9 at NJIT.
