Lynbrook, NY - Ari Richman won at first singles, one of four Pride single wins, and Hofstra took the doubles point as it posted a 5-2 win over Sacred Heart Sunday at Sportime in Lynbrook, NY.

Hofstra snapped a five-match losing streak with the victory and improves to 2-5 overall. Sacred Heart slips to 3-6 with the loss.

Richman dropped the first set, 6-4, before storming back to take the next two sets, 7-5 and 6-1, over James Barnhart. Adrien Bailly won his third singles match over Matt Dean, 6-3, 6-4. Joseph Erichsen posted a 7-5, 6-3 win over Jeremy Shuskus at fifth singles and Pedro Gimenez won a 6-4, 7-6 (10-3) decision against Mike Provenzano at sixth singles.

The Pride claimed the doubles point by winning two of the three matches. Richman and Bailly downd Luka Bagi and Shuskus at first doubles, 8-3. Gimenez and Erichsen won at third doubles, 8-4, over Kevin Budrawich and Justin Pagan.

Hofstra is next in action on March 23 when it hosts St. Francis (NY) at Sportime.
