The Hofstra University Pep Band is composed of a talented, enthusiastic group of musicians, who lend their superior performance skills to support most of the university's athletic teams.
Under the direction of two undergraduate captains, these student-leaders have transformed the organization through creating and updating a new musical repertoire.
The Pep Band has also enhanced a number of special events, such as festivals, ceremonies, and public outings. 

All experienced instrumentalist (non music majors, as well as music majors) are encouraged to audition. Enthusiasm and a love of music, and sports is a must!

**In order to be recruited, students need to stop by the Pep band recruitment table during lunchtime on the Wednesday of their Orientation. The dates below are the Wednesdays of each of the 8 orientations (dates TBA)
Recruits and returning members will be contacted during the summer to gather information and to communicate times and locations for the training date on August 28th.
