Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra University Men's Lacrosse program announced today that Saturday's scrimmages will be closed to the public due the snow storm that occurred earlier this week. 

University facilities personnel are utilizing all available resources to clear the campus of the tremendous amount of snow that blanketed the campus on Monday and Tuesday. The playing surface at James M. Shuart Stadium has been cleared for use by the student-athletes, coaches and support personnel. However, the spectator access and seating areas will not be available to the public due to snow and ice accumulation. 

The University apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to lacrosse fans.
