Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra University Men's and Women's Cross Country programs will host their first-ever on-campus meet this Friday evening when the Pride host the Hofstra Quad Meet. 

Hofstra will welcome Saint Peter's University, St. Francis College Brooklyn and Wagner College to campus for the exciting event. 

The races will take place on the Hofstra Intramural Fields with the finish and opening remarks and introductions taking place at the Hofstra Field Hockey Stadium. Both sites are located on the University's north campus. 

The women's race will begin at 7:15 p.m. and the men's race will start at 8 p.m. 

This will be the first races of the season for the Pride, under the direction of fourth-year Head Coach Vincent Giambanco. 

Following the Hofstra Quad Meet, both programs will be back in action on September 29 when they travel to the Lehigh University Paul Short Run.
