Jason Pasion announced the 2018-19 Pride Men's Tennis schedule on Thursday.
Hofstra will compete 28 times this season and will open the year by hosting the annual Hofstra Pride Invitational from September 21-23. Hofstra will then play its only dual match of the fall, traveling to NYIT on September 26 before a stretch of five tournaments end the fall schedule. The Pride will compete at the ITA All-America Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from September 29 to October 8, while some team members will take part in the Farnsworth Invitational at Princeton from October 5-7. The Pride will return to Princeton for the ITA Northeast Regional (October 11-16) and then take part if the Fordham Quad (October 27-28) and the Navy Invitational (November 9-11).
The spring season begins with the NJIT Invitational on January 26-28, followed by the start of 19 dual matches on February 1 at home versus Bucknell. Hofstra will play six of its seven home duals at Sportime in Bethpage before returning to the Hofstra Tennis Courts on April 6 against Drexel for its final home match of 2018-19. The Colonial Athletic Association Championship will take place at Elon from April 19-21.
Hofstra, which returns three players from last season, was 10-9 in 2017-18.
