Jason Pasion announced the Pride Women's Tennis schedule on Thursday.
Hofstra will play in 29 competitions in 2018-19, beginning Friday, September 7 at the Stony Brook Classic. The Pride will then compete at the Columbia Invitational from September 14-16 before hosting the annual Hofstra Pride Invitational from September 28-30. Hofstra will play one dual match in the fall, hosting NYIT on October 5, before closing out the first half of the schedule with the ITA Northeast Regional at Yale (October 11-16) and the Mount St. Mary's Invitational (October 26-28).
The spring season will see the Pride play 22 dual matches, beginning February 2 at home versus Fairleigh Dickinson. Hofstra will play seven home matches in February and March at Sportime in Bethpage, New York, before returning to the Hofstra Tennis Courts on April 6 against Drexel in the first of four home matches to end the regular season. The Colonial Athletic Association Championship will once again take place at Elon University from April 18-21.
Hofstra, which returns seven players from last season, won 10 matches in 2017-18.
